Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst – Fixed Income to lead business analysis activities for fixed income instruments, including bonds and structured products, with a focus on French products (Finalim, PGD).

In this role, you will own the roadmap for bond reference data, accrued interest calculations, coupon payments, eligibility rules, and process standardization. You will work closely with Product, IT, QA, and Operations teams to translate issuer, market, and regulatory changes into clear, testable requirements that ensure accurate and timely data delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain detailed functional specifications, data mappings, and interface definitions related to bond reference data, coupon events, and corporate actions

Define clear acceptance criteria and actively participate in UAT and regression testing to ensure release readiness

Manage and prioritize improvements across the full data lifecycle, from data sourcing and validation to standardization and distribution (Finalim, PGD, and potentially other global products)

Establish standards for bond classifications, coupon processing, and entitlement rules, ensuring compliance with regulatory, licensing, and tax requirements

Develop data lineage documentation, metadata, and data dictionaries; define KPIs and conduct quality reviews and root-cause analyses

Mentor junior Business Analysts, facilitate cross-functional workshops and ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement across product, engineering, QA, and operations teams

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis within financial information services (fixed income experience strongly preferred)

Strong expertise in fixed income instruments (bonds, structured products), bond calculations, and corporate action lifecycles, particularly for French products

Proven ability to lead complex, cross-team initiatives and own delivery roadmaps while remaining hands-on with specifications and testing

Solid data modeling and data governance knowledge, including financial identifiers and classification schemes

Experience with entitlement policies, distribution controls, and structured testing methodologies (UAT, regression testing)

Proficiency in SQL and Excel; familiarity with APIs, cloud-based data delivery, and agile working environments

Experience with GitLab is a plus

Fluent English (B2/C1) and French (B2) are mandatory

Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment
